Even the glue we use on our labels is natural and plastic-free, because we feel that each and every person should act as a guardian of our precious Mother Earth. How we create our soaps and shampoo bars

At Lavandi, all of our shampoo and soap bars are crafted through a triple-milled process. Unlike hand-crafted cold-pressed soap, which loses its aromas in the heating process, the triple-milling process results in a more uniform, consistent and luxurious product.

It is the best way to achieve a consistently smooth, moisturising lather, and it produces an abundant amount of fat for moisturising the skin. Triple-milled soaps are also known for their ability to last for multiple years without losing their scent or firmness. 

Another huge benefit of triple-milled soap is that is can be produced much more quickly, using much less water than traditional methods. It has a very long shelf life, and zero waste is created in the production process.

Triple-milled soap production requires large, expensive machinery, hence many soap companies and artisan soap makers opt for the 'cold press' method. Cold-pressed products require less investments and start-up cost, but there is another price to pay: the products can't offer you the full range of benefits that the natural oils, butters and other ingredients bring.

All of our body cleansing and nourishing bars contain castor oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil and shea butter, as well as naturally-occurring glycerin. We combine this luxurious blend with botanicals, clays and cold pressed essential oils to give them the distinctive qualities our customers know and love.

It goes without saying that we apply the same ethics, precision and care into the making of all of our products.

Our packaging takes eco-friendliness to the next level

All of our products are made by us, in Greater Manchester, UK. 

From the start, we knew that our packaging had to be 'zero plastic'. After many months of research and several false starts, we managed to not only go zero-plastic; we also created non-bleached cards, plant-based inks and aluminium jars with eco labels.

Today, both our products and packaging are fully aligned with Lavandi ethics and fundamental rules. The finishing touch is that all products are hand-packed, meaning that the quality of each item is checked individually.
